Spiaggia delle bombarde Alghero

Bombarde Beach

‘between the beaches’ known and frequented mainly by young people in the afternoon, by all in the morning. Here you can enjoy various water sports. Getting there: from Alghero to go Fertilia, follow direction Capocaccia, about 2 km after Fertilia. After a bend, you see the sign for Bombarde Beach. Turn left and continue for about a mile. You’ve arrived.

Spiaggia del Lazzaretto

Lazzaretto Beach

surrounded by dense Mediterranean scrubs, it is just more north of Bombarde Beach. This stretch has long sandy beach coves and some more intimate and confidential areas. Getting there: from Alghero to go Fertilia, follow direction Capocaccia. After about 2 km from Fertilia, after a bend, you will see the sign. Turn left and then follow the coast road on the right, passing Bombarde Beach on the left.

Mugoni beach

long sandy beach, sheltered by pine trees, fine sand and crystal-clear waters. Directions: follow direction from Alghero Capocaccia, past Fertilia, after about ten km you will find another intersection, continue to follow Capocaccia. After 2 km you will find a small sign. Turn left and you’re there.

Spiaggia del Lazzaretto

Maria Pia Beach

a long stretch of white sand that separates from the hamlet of Alghero Fertilia characterized by sand dunes protected by a pine forest, ideal for lovers of running or walking early in the morning or before sunset. Get there in a few minutes, the beach begins immediately after the marine hospital.

Spiaggia cala Dragunara

Cala Dragunara

small beach with a bar and a dock where the boats dock going directly to the caves of Neptune. Directions: follow direction from Alghero Capocaccia, about 4 km after Tramariglio take a downhill road on the left and you have arrived.

Spiaggia di Porto Ferro

Porto Ferro Beach

ideal for surfing, this wide beach of fine sand is reached through a pine forest. Getting there: after passing Fertilia, followed by Santa Maria la Palma, at the crossroads turn left towards Capo Caccia, after about 2 km you will see on your right a sign indicating Porto Ferro.

Spiaggia del Porticciolo Alghero

Torre del Porticciolo Beach

Overlooked by a seventeenth-century Spanish watchtower, the beach is a little cove reached by going down steps cut into the earth for about 100 m. The crystal-clear water is always a pleasant temperature. This little cove is sheltered from the wind and undercurrents. Behind the beach is an area with low Mediterranean vegetation, excellent for trekking. Getting there: after passing Fertilia, followed by Santa Maria la Palma, at the crossroads turn left towards Capo Caccia, after about 2 km you will see on your right a sign indicating Porticciolo.

Beach of Speranza

yellow sand and transparent waters, this beach is named after a small church nearby built by sailors, and is located to the south at about 8 km from Alghero. How to get there: take direction Bosa, after a few kilometers you will find the beach on the right.
